In many cases, emails like these can be automatically sorted into the spam or junk folder of your email inbox. It is best to first check these folders to see if the email ended up there. If you are unable to locate the email in these folders, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you further. Additionally, ensure that your email address is correctly entered in your account details to avoid such issues in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this issue promptly.
However, if you have a Gmail email account, we have noticed many missing confirmation emails, missing password reset emails, and missing tracking emails are lost to customers who use Gmail unfortunately. Gmail has a very complex sorting system. Please be sure to check all possible locations such as the category tabs and spam filter.
Gmail Emails:
Gmail Inbox Category Tabs
Gmail is efficient in filtering your emails in their category tabs located in the header just above the subject lines.
Gmail inbox category tabs automatically sort and filter your incoming emails. Unfortunately, there's not yet a way to actively choose which mail gets separated into which category. It is important to check each tab for incoming emails.
The algorithm that Google uses to protect emails against phishing effectively blocks the verification messages without notifying us or the user that the email was rejected. If you are not receiving verification emails, please disable the Advanced Protection and then request a new verification code.
Spam Filter
Various factors can prompt Google’s spam filter to route the incoming emails directly to the spam folder.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to find your spam folder in Gmail’s webmail interface and mobile app.
On the Web App
1. Open Gmail and sign into your email account on your computer.
2. Scroll down on the left sidebar that displays all the folders, including your inbox folder.
3. Click on the More option and scroll down to find the spam folder.
4. Click on the spam folder (indicated with an exclamation icon).
5. Select the email you want to go to your proper inbox and select NOT SPAM in the header.
Hotmail Emails:
The Junk E-mail Filter in Outlook identifies messages that are likely junk and moves them to the Junk E-mail folder. You can easily change the level of junk email protection or automatically delete junk email.
Change the level of junk email protection.
By default, the Junk Email Filter protection level is set to No Automatic Filtering. You can make the filter more aggressive so that it catches more junk messages. The higher you set the protection level, the greater the risk of some legitimate messages being identified as junk and moved to the Junk E-mail folder.
- Click Home > Delete group > Junk > Junk E-mail Options.
- Choose the level of protection you want.
- No Automatic Filtering Although this turns off the automatic Junk Email Filter, messages are still evaluated by using the domain names and email addresses in your Blocked Senders List.
Note: If you want to turn off the Junk Email Filter, you must also remove names from the Junk Email Filter lists. - Low If you don't receive many junk messages, or want to filter only the messages that are the most obvious junk, select this option.
- High If you receive lots of junk messages, but don’t want to restrict messages from senders on your safe lists, select this option. We recommend you occasionally check the Junk E-mail folder to make sure that a message you wanted isn’t moved in error.
- Safe Lists Only This is the most restrictive option. Any message that isn't from someone on your Safe Senders List or isn't to a mailing list on your Safe Recipients List, is classified as junk.
- No Automatic Filtering Although this turns off the automatic Junk Email Filter, messages are still evaluated by using the domain names and email addresses in your Blocked Senders List.
