If for any reason, you or your gift recipient is not completely satisfied with your gift, we'll exchange it or issue a store credit for the comparable value. We will accept returns and exchanges for items that meet the return criteria set forth below for 30 days from the date of purchase.

What to do if your ring doesn't fit?
To avoid the delay involved in sizing your ring, we recommend have your finger or another ring size measured by a local jeweler to insure the right fit for your order.
If your ring doesn’t fit as you would like, we can exhange your ring up or down one size, free of charge. Your ring must be returned to us in unworn condition. Unfortunate;y you will have to pay the shipping costs..
We cannot resize the following customized rings:
- Rings that have been engraved
- Rings that are made to order.
Exceptions: We will accept returns and exchanges for items that meet the return criteria set forth below for 30 days from the date of purchase. There after all sales are final. All on sale and clearance items are final sale. We cannot accept returns or exchanged on engraved jewelry including rings. All shipping charges, engraving fees and gift wrap fees are non refundable.
If your item is damaged or incorrect report to Customer Care within 24hrs of delivery. Unfortunately we cannot cancel or guarantee changes to orders such as shipping addresses after they are placed. Please check your order carefully at check out. Address changes can result in an address change shipping charge and a significant delay in shipping.

How to Return or Exchange... We are delighted to exchange your purchase or refund. All RA request (Return Authorization) are made in writing by emailing [email protected] An RA number must be requested with 14 days from the date of purchase. Thereafter, all sales are final. Normal processing time is approximately one week from receipt.
Shipping Charges and Gift Wrap Fees are non refundable.
* We reserve the right to cancel an order due to unforseen circumstances such as an order error or suspected fraud.
Cancellations and Order Changes... Please note that once an order is confirmed we are unable to cancel it, change quantities, change shipping address or apply promotion codes.
Clearance Items, Final Sale and Special Orders... Clearance items, final sale, gift cards, personalized Irish inspired gifts, and special orders are non-refundable and are final sale.
What are Clearance and Final Sale items? Clearance & Final Sale items are items that we are clearing from our inventory. They are new, items being offered at deep discounts. They may NOT be returned because they are so deeply discounted. Coupons cannot be used on these items unless specified.
Return Criteria.... All jewelry must be returned in Original NEW Condition. All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by all original tags and packaging. Failure to include such items may prevent or delay your refund or exchange. The Irish Jewelry Company reserves the right to deny any return if it fails to meet the return criteria and conditions.
Final Sale items mean all sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Items returned without an Return Authorization will be subject to a store credit only.
Packages shipped by us, returned by shipper as unable to deliver after multiply attempts, incorrect address or refusal will be issued a credit without shipping.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Damages and Defects... Orders received damaged or incorrect will be exchanged for the same item only. Please email report to Customer Care via email within 48hrs of delivery. Damages during shipping cannot be reimbursed without valid image of the damaged box and merchandise. Claims for defective items must be made within 15 days upon receipt of goods. Photography of the defective items may or may not be requested. Normal wear and accidental damage and or lose is not considered a defect. Sterling Silver is a soft metal. This means silver rings commonly become bent or misshapen including their prongs. Even day-to-day wear can do this, since the heat of the hand is sufficient to soften the silver further. This is not considered a defect in quality. Our quality control is very strict. Items are not shipped tarnished unless the item description states that the item has an antique or patina finish. Items that tarnish during wear are not considered damaged or defective.
Elastic Stretch Bracelets…We all love the convenience of elastic stretch bracelets - up until that inevitable moment when the elastic gives and the beads scatter across the floor in all directions. You can prolong the life of your elastic bracelets by making a few simple changes in how you wear them, how you select them and, of course, how you make your stretch bracelets.
Whatever you do, don’t pull on one end of the bracelet to form a triangle and stretch it over your hand. It stresses the elastic and eventually, it will snap. To keep your bracelet in tip top shape, roll the beads over your wrist, stretching the elastic as little as possible. Do not spread hand open to slide your bracelet on.
If you never take off your elastic jewelry, it is being exposed to chemicals that are breaking down the elastic over time. The shampoo and soaps in the shower, hair sprays, perfume, body lotions, and sunscreen. They all do their part to help breakdown and weaken the elastic over time, eventually causing it to snap. Take elastic bracelets off before applying lotions or sprays. Ideally, don't wear them in the pool or the ocean either.
Your Elastic Bracelet Got Caught on SomethingWell, this happens doesn’t it? This is not a result of defective product.The only suggestion to limit the occurrence is to wear your bracelets on your non-dominant hand. For righties, wear them on the left and lefties, wear them on the right. You are much less likely to get your wrist caught on something with the hand that you use to do less things.
Incorrect Items.... In the rare occasion the wrong item is shipped please contact IJC via email at [email protected] immediately upon receipt. A replacement item with return shipping label will be sent. All incorrect items shipped must be returned to IJC in NEW condition or you will be invoiced for the item.
Causes of Tarnishing... If a person has a natural high acidity level in his/her skin, it is possible for his/her finger to "turn green" from silver or gold jewelry, or for silver jewelry to blacken especially when the weather is hot and humid. The green is actually caused by oxidation, and all silver will oxidize (it's also what gives silver a tarnished look). There are some costume jewelry items that cause the same effect. Most of them contain nickel. It's not poisonous in small quantities but it can provoke a reaction in people allergic to nickel. This "green finger effect" and the tarnishing of silver may also be an allergic reaction to alloy elements in sterling silver or gold. In some cases, the alloys, used to make jewelry more durable, may react with your body chemistry, chemicals in the air and household chemicals such as soap, salt and sun tan lotion causing a harmless green or black discoloration on the skin, which can be easily removed with soap and water, silver cleaner or with a polish cloth. For this reason, most retail silver jewelry and white gold jewelry is plated with rhodium, which serves as a defensive layer and prevents this reaction from happening to anyone with allergy.
Lost Packages... All UPS tracking numbers are emailed automatically immediately upon shipping. Claims of lost packages or non receipt of package must be made within 2-3 weeks from date of shipping. All packages are shipped Insured and will be immediately replaced by IJC upon notification. IJC is not liable and cannot issue a refund for stolen package claims.
Chains... We reserve the right to substitute pictured chain according to market availability with a comparable chain of equal or greater value.
International Shipping information: All International packages are shipped via UPS throughout the world including Canada, Europe, Asia, Latin America and Mexico. Please keep in mind that certain countries such as India do not allow shipments of fine jewelry to their country. International duty, taxes and customs broker’s fees vary with each country. International duty, taxes and customs broker’s fees are not included in the shipping cost and will be passed along to receiver of the shipment upon delivery. Please note that we reserve the right not to ship any suspicious order internationally that exceeding $200.00 (US dollars) not including shipping.
Canadian Residents Please Read: Canadian Duty, Taxes and Customs Brokers Fees....
All refused delivery Canadian orders are subject to a 30% restocking fee, store credit only and the return shipping and handling charge.
- Canada Customs Duties....because of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canadians do not have to pay duty on most American and Mexican manufactured items.
- Canadian Taxes.....These taxes are not included at time of purchase and are charged to Canadian residents upon delivery.....
- Just about everything individuals import into Canada is subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) of six percent. The GST is calculated after customs duties have been applied.
- You will also have to pay the applicable Canadian Provincial Sales Tax (PST) or Quebec Sales Tax (QST). The provincial retail sales tax rates vary from province to province, as do the goods and services to which the tax is applied and the way the tax is applied.
- In Canadian provinces with a Harmonized Sales Tax (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador), you'll be charged a flat 14 percent, rather than separate GST and PST.
- Customs Brokers Fees... There are no brokerage fees for items being shipped UPS Expedite unless there is a customs problem....
- All courier companies and postal services have to use customs brokers to get packages processed through Canada Customs at the Canadian border. Fees for that service are passed along to all Canadian residents.
- In addition Canadian Post automatically applies a $5.00 processing fee ($8.00 for Priority Post) for each package to clear Canada Customs automatically. Fees for customs broker’s services are the charges that can really catch you by surprise.
Refusal of Delivery for International Orders: All International orders refused by purchaser are subject to non refundable original shipping costs, a 30% restocking fee and all duties and taxes and return shipping fees to The Irish Jewelry Company. All refused International orders are subject to "abandonment" by the courier. All International packages risk being abandoned when the return shipping and original shipping cost exceed the orders value. In event the package is abandoned the purchaser is liable for the entire cost of the order.
Stolen Packages: Please note we cannot be held responsible for packages stolen after delivery. If your package was successfully delivered and then stolen from your porch, you have a couple of options. For USPS deliveries (Flat Rate), you can file a mail theft complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. USPS will start your claims process. ... Reach out to your local police department to notify them of the theft. For UPS deliveries (Ground Shipping, UPS 3 Day, 2 Day or Next Day only) we can attempt to file a claim however reimbursement is not gaurenteed.
Steps to prevent package theft: If you have yet to order your gifts, take some extra steps to ensure they are delivered safely:
- Have your packages delivered elsewhere. If it's allowed, have them sent to your office, or to a neighbor you trust who will be home during delivery.
- Work with the shipping carriers. Specify exactly where to leave packages, schedule a delivery window or day, or have packages held at the facility. These options must be set up through USPS or UPS.
- Consider a private mailbox. USPS, UPS and other shipping companies offer these options.
- Track your package daily for movement and delivery. All tracking numbers are email to the email login used to place your order.
Here are the steps to take if your package is stolen:
- Search everywhere. Look behind and under objects, check with neighbors, your apartment office, and previous addresses for your package.
- Locate the tracking number. Pull up the tracking details and ensure the package was indeed delivered, and where the package was left.
- Contact customer service immediately. Reach out to the online retailer and file a report or claim.
- Contact the shipping carrier. They can also work with the retailer directly on the matter.
- File a police report. Call the non-emergency line and give as many details as possible, including photos and video if you have a security camera.
Christmas Gift Orders... Our Christmas extended return policy means all gifts purchased during November and through December 24th can be returned or exchanged up until or by January 7th. After January 7th all sales are final. We will not accept any Christmas returns or exchanges on purchases made between November and December 24th after January 7th. All returns must be received within 10 days of the issuing of the RA number. There after all sales are final.
PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA PROCESSING TIME FOR RETURNS AND EXCHANGES DURING ALL HOLIDAY SEASONS.
Customer Service will have reduced hours of operation on December 24th, 25th through the 31st as well as January 1st due to the observance of the holidays and New Year.
How to Make a Return or Exchange.... Simply repack the item in its original packaging with a copy of the packing slip and contact customer service at http://theirishjewelrycompany.zendesk.com or email at [email protected]. A customer service representative will respond to your request within 24- 48 hours via email and they will give you a return authorization number or RA number. Note that during the holidays this process will require extra processing time. When we receive the product back a credit or exchange depending on the situation will be made.
All returns must be received by The Irish Jewelry Company within 10 days from the issuing date of the RA number or they may not be accepted.
For your own protection when returning product we advise that you return your purchase to us via an insured courier such as USPS Parcel Post. Visit www.USPS.com to print your mailing label and to request free carrier pick up. Please retain a copy of your original receipt for your records. The Irish Jewelry Company will not be held responsible for any items damaged or lost in transit. Any return package received unsealed, opened or damage will not be accepted and returned to sender. The customer assumes responsibility for insuring the return shipment and filing the claim for lost or damaged returns. Shipping and packaging costs are non refundable.

General Order Information... Weekend Orders: All orders placed after 9 a.m. on Friday or any time on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and shipped on Monday.
All orders must be placed by 9 a.m. EST, Monday through Friday to be sent out that day. This time will change during the summer and the holidays.
Images of Our Products: Photography online will appear slightly different from computer monitor to computer monitor. This has to do with individual variations in display settings on different monitors and is completely out of our control. To avoid ordering product that is not what you expected please read the full item description. We try very hard to be as descriptive as possible with regards to every piece of jewelry so our customers know exactly what they are getting looks like.
