Our Irish Tara Brooch is truly magnificent. This traditional Tara Brooch in silver tone has black enamel and amethyst colored stones. It is accented with enamel green shamrocks. Shamrocks are the symbol of Ireland. It makes a lovely gift for any Irish Lassie.

Tara Brooch Meaning…... The Tara Brooch was found in County Meath in 1850. The Tara Brooch named after the Hill of Tara due to the beauty of the ornamental Celtic piece. To date the Tara Brooch is the most exquisite piece of early Christian Celtic craftsmanship ever found on in Ireland and is on permanent display in the National Museum in Dublin, Ireland. Irish step dancers often wear ornate Tara Brooches on their shoulder as part of their costumes. The Tara Brooch is a lovely statement piece reflecting one's love of their Irish heritage and history.
